Credit Specialist

• Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of prospective and existing customers through systematic credit evaluations
• Approve or recommend credit for new or existing customers within predetermined authority levels
• Collect customer deposits when criteria are met and maintain communication regarding account statuses
• Monitor customer accounts to assess cumulative credit exposure and identify financial deterioration
• Document all actions taken on customer accounts for transparency and accountability

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in credit, collections, billing, or related fields dealing directly with customers

• Additional experience in credit evaluation or customer service roles
• Familiarity with credit and collections systems
• Strong analytical skills to assess financial risks
