Tax Analyst, Global Indirect Tax

Overview

Employer Industry: Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Technology

• Assist with tax controllership and compliance processes, focusing on indirect tax across multiple jurisdictions
• Provide advisory support in existing and new jurisdictions
• Execute global indirect tax compliance obligations, ensuring timely and accurate returns and payments
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Legal departments to optimize tax efficiency and compliance
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures while enhancing process documentation

• 5+ years of global indirect tax experience, ideally with a mix of Big 4 accounting firm and industry experience
• Significant experience preparing and reviewing indirect tax returns, including VAT/GST returns
• Excellent speaking and communication skills for explaining tax concepts to diverse audiences
• Outstanding detail-orientation and process-orientation skills
• Strong analytical skills and a collaborative work ethic

• CA or CPA certification preferred
• Experience with Oracle Netsuite
• Previous experience in the cryptocurrency industry
• Knowledge of India GST regulations
