- Generate and develop new audit concepts, ensuring client acceptance and execution of audit projects
- Collaborate with teams to develop new tools and processes that enhance audit production and client satisfaction
- Oversee quality control by reviewing auditor claims before and after client submission
- Prepare responses to client disputes, utilizing advanced knowledge of contracts and recovery likelihood
- Actively participate in the training and development of audit staff to improve their performance and productivity
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with three (3) years of direct audit experience at the employer or four (4) years of related healthcare experience required
- Experience using Datameer and SQL required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and system databases is necessary
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to mentor and enhance the performance of audit staff
- Prior experience in healthcare billing and/or claims
- Familiarity with industry-based standards related to healthcare auditing
- Experience in training and assessing auditor performance
