Model Risk Analyst III - Validation

• Conduct independent reviews and validations of select models used in the organization, focusing on risk assessment and compliance with regulations
• Maintain internal control standards, ensuring timely implementation of audit points and regulatory issues
• Plan, organize, and produce results in day-to-day model validation activities
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders/vendors to manage Model Risk and maximize shareholder return
• Complete other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Engineering, Econometrics, or a science-based discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in model development or validation, with a combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and relevant work experience
• Technical knowledge of advanced software packages used in analytics
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or an advanced degree
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as SR 11-07
• Proven track record of successful model validation projects
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction
