Dynapower, a Sensata Technologies company, is looking for Field Service Engineers to be part of the team powering the future of clean energy and advanced industrial systems. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a critical hands‑on role in commissioning, maintaining, and repairing state‑of‑the‑art power conversion and generation equipment used in renewable energy, energy storage, and industrial applications.
In this dynamic, customer‑facing position, you’ll work both independently and as part of a skilled technical team to ensure reliable, efficient system performance at customer sites across the U.S. (travel up to 50%). Your work will span commissioning of new systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and control integration—leveraging your expertise in electrical testing, communication systems, and PLC programming to maximize uptime and system longevity.
This role also provides opportunities to shape the customer experience and contribute to product improvement through detailed technical reports, procedure development, and operator training. The ideal candidate is self‑directed, adaptable, and motivated by solving complex electrical and control challenges in the field while supporting the global shift toward cleaner, smarter energy solutions. We are expanding our Field Service organization and looking to strengthen our team in key regions across the Northeast, Mid‑Atlantic, West Coast, Pacific Northwest, and South‑Central U.S.
General Responsibilities- Develops services and calibrates test equipment by making regular performance inspections, planning preventative maintenance and repairing defective equipment or systems.
- Performs repairs and preventative actions on equipment within the production.
- Develops the deployment of new equipment.
- Maintains preventive actions with a real risk of equipment or infrastructure problems.
- Proposes correction and continuous improvement events for the performance of production equipment.
- Supports in diagnostic tasks and repair of various production equipment, following the best safety practices and minimizing downtime due to equipment breakdown.
- Timely informs the supervisor and relevant staff about maintenance issues related to the technological equipment during unplanned repairs.
- Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong organization, planning and time‑management skills to achieve results.
- Holds self‑accountable to achieving goals and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Base Pay Range:
$24.80 – $38.50 per hour
