What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Interface with clients and engage in business development while executing project work
  • Develop applications for permits and licenses for new reactor power plants, medical isotope facilities, and fuel cycle facilities
  • Coordinate the development of license amendment requests and conduct safety evaluations
  • Interpret NRC regulations and guidance related to nuclear power plant licensing and renewal
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance and successful project execution
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BS or MS in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the nuclear power industry, including experience in license renewal
  • Working knowledge of NRC regulations and guidance applicable to nuclear power plant licensing
  • PE license is beneficial
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with small modular reactors (SMRs) and advanced reactor technology (ART)
  • Background in digital modernization of existing nuclear plants
  • Familiarity with coal‑to‑nuclear conversion initiatives
  • Involvement in international nuclear new‑build projects
  • Strong commitment to safety, innovation, and sustainability
