What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Combat Systems and Weapon Systems
• Evaluate proposals for cost, schedule, and performance for combat system elements
• Develop and assess Combat Information Center Concept of Operations (CIC CONOPS)
• Collaborate with various engineering teams to validate requirements and integration impacts
• Coordinate and participate in program reviews, requirements assessments, and status meetings

What is Required (Qualifications):

• 10+ years of professional experience in naval combat systems integration and engineering
• Demonstrated experience in integrating and supporting US or foreign naval combat systems
• Experience in systems engineering design artifacts, including Concepts of Operations (CONOPs)
• Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process and naval ship acquisition roles
• Ability to communicate program requirements with multiple stakeholders

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Prior experience in Naval Ship Combat System engineering design and integration
• Familiarity with ship modification, construction, and Pre-Commissioning Unit processes
