Position: Solutions Architect – Asset & Work Management

Tech Lead / Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Tech Lead / Solutions Architect to support the design, integration, and delivery of enterprise solutions for asset and work management within our utility operations. This role involves orchestrating technologies such as SAP EAM, GIS platforms, AutoCAD, Project Wise, and Documentum to enhance asset lifecycle management, geospatial intelligence, and engineering workflows.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in enterprise architecture, an understanding of utility asset management processes, deep technical architect skills, and a proven track record with successful integrated solutions that drive operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and Lead Technical Solutions:
    Design and oversee the implementation of the technical architecture for applications integrating SAP EAM, GIS platforms, AutoCAD, Project Wise, Documentum, and AWS.
  • Stakeholder

    Collaboration:

    Engage with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solution strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives and IT standards.
  • Integration Strategy:
    Develop and support implementing integration strategies that enable seamless data flow and ensure data integrity across platforms.
  • Technical Leadership:
    Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in system design and deployment.
  • Cybersecurity coordination: work with the Cybersecurity organization to agree on architectural details required to secure applications and protect customer privacy.
  • Project Oversight:
    Lead planning, resource allocation, technical risk management, and deployment planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Compliance and Standards:
    Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends to improve system performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 8 years as a technical lead/solution architect, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role within the utility sector.
Technical Expertise
  • Understanding of application development incorporating SAP EAM modules.
  • Extensive experience with GIS platforms (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS).
  • Skilled in integrating engineering design tools like AutoCAD.
  • Strongly preferred: familiarity with Project Wise and Documentum.
  • Integration and Data Management:
    Deep understanding of system integration, data modeling, and data administration.
  • Leadership and Communication:
    Proven ability to support multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Salary Range

US dollar: $98,040.00 - $ USD.
