What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Provide technical supervision to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering project deliverables
  • Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for complex electrical modifications at nuclear power plants
  • Review and track progress of project deliverables, maintaining project scope and budget
  • Coordinate completion of engineering design change packages and technical analysis reviews
  • Interface with clients to validate scope and ensure satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • A BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • 10 years of experience in the design of electrical engineering systems for nuclear power plants
  • 3 years of experience in leading an engineering design group through all phases of a project design
  • Experience with electrical system design, including low and medium voltage distribution systems
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey information to project team members and clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • PE Licensure is preferred
  • Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead engineering role
  • Detail-oriented approach to work
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Capable of being badged for unescorted access to a nuclear station
