What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Design full‑course curricula for high school STEM subjects, including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans
  • Develop high‑quality instructional materials such as student‑facing lessons, labs, projects, and assessments
  • Ensure alignment with New York State standards and the employer's academic vision and outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with academic leaders and other curriculum writers to ensure coherence across courses and grade levels
  • Use feedback from educators and student performance data to iterate and improve curriculum materials
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics;
    Master’s degree preferred
  • At least three years of experience in developing rigorous, standards‑aligned curriculum
  • Proven record of driving strong student outcomes through effective curriculum design
  • Strong understanding of inquiry‑based learning and analytical thinking
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in an educational setting

  • Experience in high school STEM education and curriculum development
  • Familiarity with New York State education standards and requirements
  • Skills in using data to inform curriculum improvements and instructional strategies
