What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with various inquiries such as pricing, availability, and shipping issues
  • Manually enter customer orders and process EDI orders as needed, focusing on accuracy and efficiency
  • Research and resolve order discrepancies and manage Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) in a timely manner
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and participate in training to enhance customer service skills
  • Assist in process improvements and training of new staff on procedures and best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with MAPICS/AS 400 systems
  • Clear and concise interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working in a team environment, preferably in a small to medium-sized company
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant customer service experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Familiarity with industrial safety products and solutions
  • Previous experience in a customer service or fulfillment role within the safety industry
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
