- Assist travel consultants in confirming international reservations at the lowest possible fares
- Review alternative air fare quotes and utilize employer contracts as appropriate
- Employ creative techniques to reduce air fares, such as split ticketing and analyzing codeshare pricing variations
- Provide timely and accurate responses to internal clients regarding cost-saving advice
- Support travel consultants in reissue and refund procedures, as well as resolve rate-related problems
- Good understanding of NDC (pricing and fulfillment)
- Experience in the field of air fares/rate desks
- Proficiency in Sabre and/or Amadeus
- Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong drive for generating revenue
- GCSE (minimum of Level
4) in Maths and English
