• Manage the day-to-day aspects of raising and structuring purchase orders for large client programs
• Perform rigorous funding analysis to ensure alignment with the available budget
• Monitor committed versus actual spend to prevent budget over-extension
• Calculate monthly forecasts and long-term plans for future purchase order volume
• Identify and track performance measures to improve internal company performance

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) and 5 to 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with general ledger and accounting practices
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle a variety of concrete variables
• Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

• Experience in the IT industry or related fields
• Familiarity with procurement and funding processes
• Understanding of governmental regulations related to procurement
• Ability to network with senior internal and external personnel
• Demonstrated good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
