Overview

Employer Industry: Data Analytics and Market Research

• Translate project specifications into actionable data structures and models in Excel and other analytical tools
• Identify key data sources for model inputs and collaborate with IDC analysts to enhance custom data models
• Analyze and interpret large datasets to generate insights and deliverables tailored to client specifications
• Manage quality assurance on all client deliverables and perform checks on data integrity
• Present data insights and collaborate with project managers to address any data-related inquiries

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required;
  Master’s degree (MBA or similar) is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience focusing on data analysis, market modeling, and analytical problem-solving
• Demonstrated expertise in market intelligence with knowledge of the ITC/technology markets strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex calculations and large-scale data analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey analytical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Familiarity with IDC datasets, taxonomies, and market definitions
• Experience with market research methodologies, including market sizing, segmentation, and forecasting
• Ability to quickly learn and customize data to meet specific client needs
