We’re looking for a Freight Dispute Claims Manager to own the end-to-end review and dispute of freight invoices, ensuring billing accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies. In this role, you’ll audit high volumes of carrier invoices, identify pricing and compliance issues, and drive dispute recovery while partnering closely with carriers and internal teams across finance, logistics, and analytics.

How you will achieve success
  • Own end-to-end freight invoice audit and dispute processes (~500 invoices per week).
  • Identify billing discrepancies, pricing errors, and contract non-compliance.
  • Drive cost savings, dispute recovery, and resolution speed by analyzing freight data to detect trends, identify billing errors and discrepancies, and implement cost optimization strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with carriers, finance, logistics, analytics, and S&T.
  • Own and improve dispute metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.
What experiences will help you in this role
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to identify root causes and trends.
  • Experience with freight billing, carrier pricing, tariffs, and contract rate application.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in invoice review and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple disputes and priorities independently.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external partners.
  • Experience using data, reporting tools, and systems to drive decisions.

$70,000 - $80,000 a year. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,000/year to $80,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Spreetail is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
