• Evaluate, price, and propose rates and strategies for acquiring and renewing National Account clients
• Conduct in-depth risk assessments and pricing for prospective and in-force customers following underwriting guidelines
• Provide customer reporting and analytics
• Collaborate with sales and subject matter experts to develop comprehensive pricing and solutions
• Recommend improvements to policies and procedures in response to client and market needs

• Minimum of 7+ years of group underwriting experience
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a deep understanding of industry contractual language
• Highly skilled in written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving
• Proficient in PC skills, including Excel and word processing applications

• Experience mentoring and developing underwriters
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing demands
• Motivated team player with a positive attitude
