- Develop, improve, and maintain all aspects of the employer's Global Trade Compliance programs for imports/exports in the US and Canada
- Manage regional import/export activities, including HS classifications, tariff monitoring, and customs declarations
- Collaborate with various teams to implement GTC policies and resolve customs matters
- Conduct internal/external audits and communicate with government officials regarding compliance
- Represent GTC in strategic projects, advising on strategy and managing execution for operational efficiency
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the industry
- 8+ years of experience in import/export global trade compliance
- Deep understanding of WTO, WCO, US, and Canada legal frameworks and customs valuation
- Proven ability to manage external audits and effectively communicate with government officials
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Active US Customs License
- Good understanding of import/export laws and regulations in countries outside the US and Canada, particularly in Asia Pacific
- Experience in setting up global trade compliance policies and procedures
- Proactive and solutions‑oriented mindset with a continuous improvement mentality
Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with diverse teams
