What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Partner with business leaders to drive inorganic growth strategies and identify potential acquisition targets
  • Proactively search for and evaluate external opportunities aligned with the company’s innovation strategies
  • Build relationships within the external innovation ecosystem, including incubators, accelerators, and universities
  • Manage the full M&A transaction process, ensuring thorough diligence and risk assessment
  • Lead negotiations of term sheets and definitive agreements, supporting integration post-transaction
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, corporate development, strategy consulting, or investment banking
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry preferred
  • Proven track record in identifying and recommending companies for acquisitions and partnerships
  • Strong financial acumen for financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Prior experience with the full M&A process, including negotiating legal agreements
  • Established network within the medical technology or healthcare innovation sector
