OverviewIn this role you will coordinate, monitor, and lead the activities of a cellular work team in support of assigned goals and objectives in a manufacturing environment, working with a variety of production machinery and equipment. You will focus on the cleaning activity dedicated to our additive‑manufactured (3D‑printed) components.
Cell Lead Position PremiumThe Cell Lead position is eligible for a $3/hour cell lead premium.
ScheduleMonday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
Responsibilities Lead Duties and Responsibilities- Monitor and execute the production schedule.
- Schedule employees to run equipment and jobs.
- Evaluate cleaning equipment and work with supervisor for future needs.
- Work with the team to develop and monitor preventive maintenance procedures.
- Ensure the area has the materials and supplies to meet production needs.
- Ensure jobs are complete, meet quality standards, and are on time.
- Ensure machinery and equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
- Provide employees with on‑the‑job training and mentoring.
- Ensure employees are following work instructions and processes.
- Provide daily updates through the Tier I process.
- Communicate production issues, schedules, and priorities within and between teams.
- Implement process improvements.
- Provide employees with goals, performance initiatives, and accountability aligned with company goals.
- Ensure employees are following company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the manufacturing ERP systems for production.
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
- Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
- Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve.
- Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly.
- Participate in required company meetings.
- Maintain an organized work area (5S).
- Participate in the Operational Excellence Program.
- Complete all other work duties as assigned.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, equipment, and processes.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage relationships and facilitate team collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to take direction from and give input to the next‑level leader.
- Ability to collaborate and assist team members.
- Ability to cross‑train in other areas of production when required.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning systems and criteria in the medical device industry.
- Chemistry experience.
- Experience in additive manufacturing (3D printing).
- Business or technical degree.
- Supervisory experience.
- Medical manufacturing experience.
- Familiar with ISO and FDA requirements.
- Certifications in a related field.

Cretex companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted periodically to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.
Pay RangeUSD $25.14 – $36.49 per hour.
