Develop and continuously improve production processes in terms of productivity, quality and reduction of associated costs through optimal design with respect to applicable standards.

• Define the specification and technologic requirements to be developed for new processes.
• Assure implementation of Ficosa process standards.
• Collaborate in the production problems analysis (productivity and quality) of the plant, proposing appropriate corrective measures for the process improvement through the global standards.
• Participate in the Projects meetings.
• Close cooperation with Product Engineers through application of DFM/A principles in order to increase the productivity of the processes and reduce the associated costs. Participate with active role in the decision for manufacturing workshops.
• Take part in offer processes of new projects, analyzing the product’s design to guarantee their optimum industrialization, and analyze the costs and investments related with the mentioned industrialization.
• Take part in the new products R&D projects by contributing to the necessary solutions from the processes point of view.
• Take part in the Benchmarking teams by contributing in the analysis of matters related to the processes.
• Participate in the research and develop new technologies of the productive processes, with the objective of improving the existing ones.
• Propose improvements for the actual processes standards.
• Support continues improvement activities in the processes in production in the plant of responsibility.
• Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in electronic, mechanic automotion or similar engineering

Languages: Fluent in local language & Fluent in English (spoken & read & written)

Travel: Willing to travel

Additional training: Automation systems programming and design (PLC, HMI, robots, servo-drives, vision systems, etc.); mechanical engineering; specific knowledge on processes under responsibility; lean manufacturing methods, six sigma problem solving, analysis and statistics tools; ISO TS requirements would be of additional value
