Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Conyers, GA — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.
Pay & Schedule- $17.39 per hour
- Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
Product Handling & Equipment- Management of inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse work environment
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors); also ability to work within a diverse environment
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Must be punctual and have a good attendance record
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- Possesses a high degree of initiative
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
- Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work using health and safety methods
- Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record and personal vehicle; travel within area approx. 25‑50 % of the day
- Strong technical aptitude (using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners and entering orders into a WMS system)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to work both indoors and outside
- Perform warehouse functions (loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting)
- Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Responsible for accurate picking and packing, audit, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks
- Responsible for dealing with day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
- Perform other duties as assigned
