Job Summary:The Territory Manager at Belt Power, LLC., will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for heavy-weight belting products within an assigned territory. This role combines consultative selling, account management, and new business development to achieve revenue and profitability objectives. The Territory Manager will maintain and expand relationships with existing customers while proactively identifying and securing new opportunities. Collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturers is essential to deliver value-added solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and growth.
- Promote, sell, and secure orders through a consultative, relationship-based approach.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of product and service opportunities.
- Meet or exceed territory growth objectives and all assigned KPIs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for National, OEM, and regional accounts, managing communication and project coordination.
- Respond promptly to customer requests and ensure timely completion of services.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales and other internal teams to generate quotes and track order status.
- Resolve product or service issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Implement formal sales processes and call plans to maximize territory coverage.
- Conduct plant-wide surveys to assess customer needs and provide documented cost-saving solutions.
- Research and develop target account lists with annual action plans for products and services.
- Participate in trade shows, conventions, and networking events to promote products and generate leads.
- Stay current on product applications, technical services, market conditions, and competitive activities, consulting with the marketing and technical teams when necessary.
- Provide all required information for accurate quotes/orders, including pricing levels, RFQ tool usage, print, and customer timelines.
- Respect, protect, support, company culture.
- Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
- Required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Always represent Belt Power in a professional manner
- Previous outside sales experience in industrial distribution preferred
- Experience with conveyors and/or automation preferred
- Experience with CRM and / or ERP systems
- Highly responsive to and respectful of customer needs
- 24/7 availability to customers
- Attention to detail and observant in discussions with customers
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Overtime hours and weekend work may be required
- Travel including overnight
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, and background check
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems

The Territory Manager may lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and will require manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate equipment controls. Tools, and other items used to make adjustments and/or minor maintenance. Will use hands, arms, back, and shoulders to handle, installs, position, move items, and manipulate other objects. Could be in a sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting position for long periods of time.
