2ND Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Conyers, GA

Salary: $25-$30 per hour

MGM Products is a family-owned manufacturer specializing in commercial HVAC curb industry. As a sheet metal fabrication shop, we operate in a fast-paced environment with high expectations for quality and performance.

• Team Supervision:
  Oversee the daily operations of the 2nd shift team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Employee Development:
  Teach, train, and coach team members to enhance their skills and performance, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Quality Assurance:
  Uphold and enforce quality standards in production processes and output, ensuring that products meet company specifications.
• Accountability Management:
  Hold team members accountable for their performance, including completing tasks on time and meeting daily Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
• Process Improvement:
  Implement "5S" methodology to maintain an organized and efficient workspace, identifying and addressing the "Seven Forms of Waste" to enhance productivity.
• Safety Management:
  Promote and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Safety Meetings:
  Organize and lead regular safety meetings to discuss policies, address concerns and reinforce the importance of safety practices among team members.
• Communication:
  Facilitate effective communication between shifts and departments to ensure smooth operation and that issues are promptly addressed.
• Problem Solving:
  Identify and resolve operational issues as they arise, employing critical thinking to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Knowledge of "5S" methodology, "Seven Forms of Waste", Kaizen, and lean manufacturing.
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with a focus on team development.

We are a small and growing manufacturer with 3 locations and approximately 100 employees. We specialize in HVAC metal fabrication.
