Machine Operator/Extrusion

Now hiring for extrusion machine operators with experience in both extrusion and food-grade manufacturing

Job Duties:

• Consistently and safely operate thermoforming machines at or above standard levels of operation including safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, and utilization. This includes packing finished product into bags and boxes.
• Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
• Provide innovative solutions for production issues.
• Provide support and guidance to less experienced personnel.
• Complete appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities.
• Inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct the cause of defects.
• Observe all housekeeping, standard work, and safety guidelines.

Qualified candidates:

• Will have 1-year experience in a fast-paced production environment with some mechanical knowledge of industrial systems.
• Extrusion experience preferred.
• Knowledge of machinery operated and ability to explain how machine functions

$18.50/hr: 7am-7pm

$19.50/hr: 7pm-7am

12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule
(2 days on, 2 days off, every other weekend)
