Job Description - RN Weekend - Medical Oncology (FT Days) )

Rockdale Medical Center

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and within the policies of the organization. Will assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate the care of the medical, surgical or oncology patient.

Reports to:

Nurse Manager

FLSA:
Non-exempt

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
• Licenses:
  Current GA RN
• Recent experience as an RN in an acute care facility in medical, surgical, oncology nursing preferred
• 1 year job related experience preferred
• Experience with computerized documentation preferred
