Description
The MRI Technologist serves to insure quality diagnostic imaging services for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population for health maintenance and/or improvement. The Technologist cooperates and coordinates with all members of the Diagnostic Imaging Departments, Nursing services, Medical Staff, other health care professionals, clinical affiliations, Administration, students, volunteers, and other disciplines as necessary for the provision of quality patient care.
This is a non-exempt position.
Qualifications
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
ARRT(MR) registry and CPR certification required
Two years experience preferred
Two years experience performing routine and complex
MRI procedures
Knowledge of routine protocols and experience formulating them
