Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work in split lab rotating between Cardiac, Vascular & Interventional Radiology

• 9-10 call shifts for 6-week schedule including weekends

• Weekend coverage included in call schedule

• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed

• Minimum 1 year experience required - Unit accepts first time travelers

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS

• Extensive skills required including IABP placement/removal, pacemaker insertion, diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, interventional radiology procedures

• Must be proficient in equipment setup, EKG lead placement, sterile technique, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

• Daily census of 16 patients in 3-room facility

• Holiday work requirement:
Must work major holidays that fall during assignment period

• Maximum 7 RTO days allowed

• GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

• Two supervisory references highly preferred

• Must be available to complete compliance items within 48 hours of contract signing

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
