ResponsibilitiesJOB PURPOSE: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac/electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP equipment and maintenance thereof and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
QualificationsMINIMUM
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current Georgia RN proceso, RCIS or RCES.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BLS and ACLS.
