Clinical Educator - Intensive Care Unit (Full Time) -
Rockdale Medical Center
Description
Collaborates with nurse manager and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in all areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
Coordinates unit based orientation for staff and PI initiatives as needed.
Reports to:
Director of ICU
This is an Exempt position
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Member of American Association of Critical Care Nurses is preferred
Current GA RN License required
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Recent experience as an RN in an acute care facility in ER, Medical Surgical, and ICU required.
