What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for an Engineering Intern to join our Customer Quality and Warranty Management team. The role will assist Customer Quality in collecting, investigating, determining root causes, and developing solutions for customer/field issues while partnering with the Warranty team on warranty claim analysis to drive improvements in product design and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities- Collect and analyze data for customer complaints/issues and warranty incidents in collaboration with Service teams.
- Understand customer symptoms and develop problem statements using structured problem‑solving techniques.
- Obtain failed units and conduct failure analysis to determine root causes of symptoms.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, Quality, and Supplier Quality to understand customer and product requirements, design intent, and manufacturing processes to develop root causes of failure.
- Partner with responsible parties to drive timely resolution of solutions.
- Create service bulletins to rapidly share knowledge with Service teams.
- Collaborate with the Quality Analytics team to create data models that provide early detection of potential product quality concerns.
- Enrollment in a 4‑year Engineering degree program.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Rising Junior to Rising Senior progressing toward a bachelor’s degree in Engineering:
Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial. - Analytical and conceptual thinking, using logic and reason, creative and strategic thinking.
