What we are looking for: We need an Accounts Receivable Specialist who provides timely and accurate invoicing, assists with collections, shipping, and customer service requests, and serves as a business liaison with our Offshore Shared Services for dispute resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, credit memos, and other billing documents.
- Verify BOLs, POs, and required support documents are uploaded for audit and invoicing.
- Conduct 3‑way matching (PO, pricing window, Visual SO, and Visual PO).
- Prepare pre‑payment invoices, input data into the PPD tracker, and process revised/updated invoices.
- Provide Offshore Shared Services support—basic freight information for customer inquiries.
- Verify shipping freight charges and serve as liaison between freight companies and the shipping department.
- Communicate with freight vendors to confirm final freight charges.
- Gather information for new customer and tax exemption set‑up.
- Work with the AR Supervisor to resolve accounts receivable issues.
- Support month‑end close and title transfer billing management.
- Support A/R scorecard metrics.
- Own timely collection of payments from customer accounts.
- Ensure invoices are processed through customers efficiently and on‑time using customer portals and communications.
- Engage directly with customer A/P teams to understand and remove payment roadblocks.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 4+ years of related experience in credit, collections, and billing.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior billing experience.
- Experience with Visual, Integra, Oracle, and Viewpoint Vista.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated dependability and flexibility to manage work as required.
- Strong communication skills across all levels and functions.
- Proficiency with office equipment and recording written information.
Physical Demands:
- Sitting, standing, walking, using hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, tools, and telephone; occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Usual office work environment; overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

- Noise level is usually moderate; visiting job sites may be required occasionally.
