We recognise the importance of identifying talented people to become the next generation of professional retail employees and help us achieve our ambitious growth plans. We are looking for people who share our passion to join our highly successful retail apprenticeship programme.
Responsibilities- Advising customers on how to solve a problem with their vehicle.
- Taking orders from customers both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
- Maintaining an ordered stock room and finding parts from stock.
- Raising invoices for parts sold.
- Liaising with other members of staff.
- Working alongside on‑site Service Technicians to ensure they have the parts needed to complete their daily work.
Using a combination of classroom‑based training, e‑learning, practical training, and application of learning, you will be guided by your trainers and personal mentor along the road to success. This apprenticeship combines off‑the‑job training with on‑the‑job learning and you will be supported every step of the way.
(England: Standard) – On successful completion of the 17‑month programme you will receive:
Level 2 Retailer Standard and JLR specific certifications

(Scotland/ Wales/ Northern Ireland) – On successful completion of the 15‑month programme you will receive:
Level 2 / Level 5 Customer Service Apprenticeship and JLR specific certifications

Once qualified, the earning potential for a Parts Advisor is in excess of £20,000. Your early development is carefully mapped through your apprenticeship journey with your learning focused toward achieving an industry‑recognised qualification. Embedded within your training are the JLR global training materials, guiding you through your short, medium, and long‑term career path.
Qualifications Required- GCSE grades 9–3 (A–D) or equivalent in English, Maths and two other subjects.
- In Scotland, applicants must have or be predicted to achieve Scottish National 5 Grades A–C or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
- Equivalent grades: BTEC first diplomas and certificates, OCR Nationals, Key Skills Level 2, NVQs.
- Essential Skills (Wales):
Functional Skills Level 2. - Core Skills (Scotland).
- We accept predicted grades and conditional offers can be made based on predicted grades.
As a central point of contact for both our internal and external customers you will need to have excellent communication skills, be IT‑literate (full training will be provided), and demonstrate attention to detail in the way you work.
