North Wales hostels, in particular: YHA Conwy and YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass. Various fixed term, flexible contracts available. £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.71 per hour from 1st March 2026 in line with National Living Wage (applies to all, including those under the age of 21). Staff accommodation is available at some hostels at a rate of £69.83 per week.

As a Seasonal Hospitality Team Member, you'll play a key role in making our guests' experiences memorable. Your efforts will be at the core of our mission to provide exceptional hospitality.

What will you be doing as a Hospitality Team Member?
  • Providing great customer service to all our customers, members and guests.
  • Working on reception, offering insights about the hostel and the local area. Ensuring every guest feels informed and welcomed.
  • Using our systems for efficient guest check‑ins and check‑outs, food and beverage sales and service.
  • Carrying out housekeeping duties, ensuring a comfortable, clean environment for all visitors.
  • Assisting in the preparation of food and serving food and drinks with genuine warmth, hospitality and pride that will influence more sales.
What Skills and Experience do you need to be a Hospitality Team Member?
  • Experience of working face‑to‑face with customers.
  • Experience of working in a team that helps others achieve a common goal.
  • Excellent time‑keeping, with flexibility to cover different shifts, punctual, can work to deadlines.
  • Ability to manage varying pressures, including peaks in workload demands, prioritise, and deal with differing duties.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the core purpose of YHA – what YHA does and how we do it.
  • Demonstration of our HEART values; they’re part of everything we do, and we look for team members who bring them to life in their everyday work.
