Community Engagement Coordinator – Life Care Memory Partners

Schedule

A full‑time role, typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the understanding that evenings, early mornings, and weekends will occasionally be required for events, presentations, and community outreach. Reliable transportation is essential, as you will regularly travel throughout the North and South Carolina counties we serve.

What You’ll Be Doing Volunteer Engagement & Leadership
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and recognize volunteers across assigned counties.
  • Partner with the interdisciplinary team to align volunteer services with patient and caregiver needs.
  • Provide coverage and problem‑solving support for other Community Engagement Coordinators.
  • Serve as a steady, compassionate point of contact between volunteers and LMP staff.
Community Outreach & Education
  • Act as a public‑facing representative for Life Care Memory Partners through presentations, educational events, and community engagements.
  • Build relationships with caregivers, community leaders, referral sources, and partner organizations.
  • Support and help implement educational programming across the region.
  • Represent Life Care Memory Partners at community events, health fairs, and “pop‑up” caregiver respite activities.
Program Support & Administration
  • Assist with marketing, communications, and general outreach strategies to elevate program visibility.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities for volunteer programs and community engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and navigate Microsoft tools and electronic records effectively.
  • Adapt your schedule and priorities to support program goals and meet community needs.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in volunteer coordination, community relations, human services, or related fields is helpful.
