Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in North Myrtle Beach, SC. As a Family Court Attorney, you will represent clients in divorce and family law cases, including matters related to custody, support, and property division. Daily tasks will involve advising clients, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, appearing in court, and developing case strategies. You will work closely with clients to provide compassionate guidance and advocate for their best interests in legal proceedings.

Collaboration with other attorneys and staff will also be an integral part of this role.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Law, with expertise in family law and familiarity with South Carolina statutes and legal procedures
  • Skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, agreements, and court forms
  • Experience handling Courts and legal proceedings, including trial preparation, litigation, and mediation
  • Strong understanding of Legal Issues to evaluate cases and advise clients effectively
  • Exceptional Research skills to support case preparation and strategy
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active licensure to practice law in South Carolina
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Experience in family court or handling family law matters is preferred
