PTA role performs visits in homes, ALFs, and ILFs. This is a salary-based position with the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus. This is a full-time, salary-based position.

Your Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing primary care family. As a PTA, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitative services to patients with injuries or disabilities. Your primary responsibilities include assisting in implementing treatment plans, conducting exercises with patients, educating patients on proper rehabilitation techniques, and documenting patient progress. You will develop individualized treatment plans, instruct and assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises, monitor patients during therapy sessions, and provide guidance and support as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment with properly sanitized equipment. Communicate regularly with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and adjust treatment plans as needed. Assist in the implementation of discharge plans, including providing patients with continued-care instructions and recommending follow-up services.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation
- Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and perform therapeutic activities
- Pelvic Health Experience and/or interest
- Prior experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Specialized training or certification in areas of physical therapy (e.g., orthopedics, pelvic health, neurology, geriatrics)
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language commonly spoken by patients in the practice area
