Director of Children's Ministry - North Conway Baptist Church

• Overall oversight and management of the nursery, preschool, and children’s department (birth–5th grade).
• Develop, implement, and promote a comprehensive, age‑appropriate discipleship program.
• Foster relationships with children, their parents, and the surrounding community.
• Coordinate all children’s programs, including Wednesday nights, Sunday School, children’s worship, summer programming, and special events such as the Fall Festival.
• Assist with follow‑up of all children and their parents who visit the church and attend children’s ministry programs.
• Act as the coordinator for paid childcare workers.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to oversee all children’s ministries.
• Collaborate with volunteer leaders to determine ministry goals and activities.
• Recruit, train, and develop leadership for various classes and organizational structures for nursery, preschool, and children, including regular and ongoing training and planning meetings.
• Oversee Vacation Bible School.
• Promote children’s ministry within the church and the broader community.
• Prepare and manage the children’s ministry budget.
• Serve on the Church Council as a representative for all children’s ministries.
• Support and empower families in the discipleship of their children.
• Develop and implement outreach and support opportunities with Conway Elementary School.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
• Accountability to the Senior Pastor for all responsibilities.
• Answerability to the Personnel Team.

• A dedicated Christian with a clear profession of faith, a sense of calling to the ministry, and evidence of a Spirit‑filled life.
• A faithful member or willing to become a member of North Conway Baptist Church.
• A people person who is energetic, outgoing, and works well with the Senior Pastor, staff, church members, community people, and denominational personnel.
• A communicator with excellent written, visual, and interpersonal communication skills.
• A multitasker able to plan, organize, and handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently, with attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining a professional, courteous manner.
• While not required, ministry training and paid ministry experience will be prioritized.

• Full‑time position: 40 hours weekly, including office hours Monday‑Thursday 8:30 am‑5:00 pm, Wednesday nights, and Sundays.
• Office space, computer, and all necessary equipment provided.
• Salaried employee with access to all benefits, including sick leave and paid vacation.
• Salary range: $36,000 to $45,000.
