Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree;
Demonstrated ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work well as a team member. Demonstrated ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail and follow instructions without close supervision.
Two (2) years higher education or teaching experience.
Duties- Provide students with information focused on meeting developmental academic needs, including transition to the college environment, exploration of various major fields of study, career options, available resources, and university policies.
- Assist students with the course planning and registration process; keep accurate records of student advising contacts and progress toward a degree.
- Process student requests and forms in a timely manner; audit student records each semester to ensure appropriate course selection and progress; provide final audits for graduating seniors.
- Engage in departmental committees and professional development.
Time-limited position with benefits. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Normal work hours are M-Th 8:00-5:00 and F 8:00-12:30, with occasional evening or weekend requirements. The position will serve 37.5 hours/week. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
