Neurologist South Carolina

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Neurology Physician will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive neurology care to meet the growing demand in our community. This position balances outpatient and inpatient services, with a focus on general neurology while supporting subspecialty interests. The physician will be supported by a robust infrastructure, including telemedicine for call support, advanced diagnostic tools, and a strong primary care referral base.

This role also offers opportunities to collaborate with an experienced team and contribute to the expansion of neurology services at Conway Medical Center.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Primarily outpatient clinical role - with inpatient responsibilities
• Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm)
• Protected administrative time (5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)
• 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours

PATIENT VOLUME & CENSUS:

• Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day

SCOPE OF WORK:

• Visit Types:
  General neurology consultations, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing.
• Typical Procedures: EMG, EEG, nerve conduction studies, and Botox injections.
• Support Services:
  Telemedicine for consults, EMG tech onsite, and a tele-stroke program in place.
