Administrative Assistant (AA75//FTE-S01127P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Grade: GEN
06. Salary range: $37,200.00 (minimum) - $48,300.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the needs of the university.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Plans, coordinates, and performs all standard management support services for two departments:
Communication, Media and Culture and History. Standard management support services for the two departments include, but are not limited to, scheduling department meetings; making room reservations; assisting in planning and organizing program events; coordinating and executing catering orders; managing the schedules and calendars for both department chairs; keeping, filing, and distributing records and meeting minutes; monitoring paperwork routing to various campus offices.

Serves as the liaison to student and faculty in both departments and as first point of contact for external visitors to the two departments.

Supports both department chairs in all fiscal matters and procurement. Monitors and tracks the budgets and spending for the departments. Assists the department chairs in budget planning and setting sustainable budgets, provides budget reports, and tracks all spending in close cooperation with the chairs and the College's Business Manager. Prepares all purchase requisitions, processes and places orders, and plans the ordering of the departments' supplies from on-campus and commercial entities.

Coordinates and plans all travel and paperwork for external visitors, including job candidates and visitors to the departments. Schedules and books flights and hotels, assists search committees in planning schedules for campus…
