Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all GM areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set‑up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and "guest first" culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals: department sales trends, inventory replenishment, process efficiency and improvement
• Ability to execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to help achieve goals (receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, putting up promotional signs).
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set‑up and maintenance, inventory accuracy as directed for all areas.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about the resources, products, and services available in the store.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner; comply with all safety policies and training; report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, digital fulfillment processes, and compliance with beverage laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting up to 44 lbs without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule; reliable and prompt attendance required.
• Work in/ exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing job duties.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
