Inventory Coordinator SGA – Holman Logistics

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Records data manually or using computer.
  • Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies or adjusts errors.
  • Keeps records on the use and/or damage of inventory.
  • Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Aids or directs other Team Members or managers with maintenance of inventory.
  • Drives trucks/scooters in order to conduct inventory and bay audits.
  • Prepares and maintains records and reports of inventories, shortages, shipments.
  • Prepares and participates in cycle counts.
  • Plans, designs, and improves components of traffic control systems (space planning) to accommodate current and projected traffic and to increase usability and efficiency of space in warehouse, when needed.
  • Housekeeping of department/areas.
  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
  • Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
Position Qualifications
  • Attendance – Ability to work required schedule, arrive on time, and work voluntary/mandatory overtime during busy season.

Skills & Abilities
  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience: One to two years related experience
  • Computer

    Skills:

    Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word; ability to master internal computer systems.
