This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Arkansas

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services to high-risk neonates, including management of ventilator settings, oxygen therapy, and emergency airway interventions. The RRT will also rotate through NICU/ICU, Covid units, ER, and other relevant departments.

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as per protocols.
• Perform airway management, including intubation and extubation assistance.
• Conduct and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analyses and EKGs.
• Support high-risk deliveries by stabilizing infants as needed.
• Utilize various respiratory equipment such as BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannulas.

• Active RRT state license in Arkansas.
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care setting, particularly in NICU or ICU.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
