Overview
The Organizational Educator is responsible for coordinating orientation, in‑services, continuing education, competency assessment programs, and patient/community education. The Organizational Educator practices within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and the policies, procedures, and standards of Conway Regional Health System. The Organizational Educator demonstrates a commitment to teamwork through effective collaborative efforts.
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONThis position is designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers who Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health‑care related services.
Qualifications- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, required
- Master’s degree, preferred
- Current unencumbered Arkansas nursing license, required
- Minimum of three years of experience in nursing practice, required
- Previous experience as a preceptor, charge nurse, or clinical instructor, required
- ANCC certification in related field, required; if not certified at time of hire, must acquire within 2 years of hire
