Pinnacle Re Tec Ltd is based in Consett, County Durham and specialises in the reverse engineering of rotating equipment. We service and repair all variety of pumps for blue‑chip customers in the UK and abroad – from multi‑stage, high‑pressure units to small, over‑hung end‑suction pumps. This is an exciting new position created as a result of considerable growth.

The Turner reports directly to the Machine Shop Supervisor and is responsible for the production of components from drawings utilizing various sizes of manual lathes. (Other skills such as manual milling, slotting, vertical & horizontal boring and grinding are a bonus but not essential.) Working with tolerances up to 0.02 mm, the applicant must be fully conversant in both metric and imperial measurements.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small team and will be required to work effectively in a variety of machining tasks.

• Salary: £29,884.34 (£15.53 per hour) plus 25% shift premium after successful completion of the probationary period.
• 37 hours per week.
• Day Shift (probationary period):
  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00
  • Friday: 07:30 – 12:30
• Shift Pattern (after probationary period):
  • Day Shift Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00
  • Friday: 06:00 – 13:30
  • Back Shift Monday to Wednesday: 13:45 – 23:45
  • Thursday: 13:45 – 22:45
• Pension – 3% Company Contribution.
