As an Operations Assistant based in Consett you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out general warehouse tasks - This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. Radiators, Boilers, Sinks, Toilets

• Booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away in the designated location

• Picking and packing customer orders

• Maintaining high standards of H&S within the warehouse

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations

• Handling customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously

This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours a week working Monday to Friday 07.00am - 4.00pm.

• Plumbing and heating industry or merchant experience is beneficial

• Previous warehouse experience

• Confidence to interact with customers

• Dependable, hardworking team player who is open to learning to support in all areas of the branch
