Our subsidiary BAUER Equipment America represents BAUER Maschinen GmbH in the USA and is looking for a Logistics Assistant (m/f/x) for its location in Conroe, Texas, USA.
Das erwartet Sie in Ihrer neuen Rolle:
- Coordinatethe transportation of company products domestic and international via ground,air or ocean
- Responsiblefor scheduling shipments, obtaining trucking quotes, carrier pickups and deliveries, monitoring shipments, costs, and timelines
- Review International shipping documents (airway bills / seaway bill) for accuracy
- Handledomestic freight claims, rate analysis, and assist with internal freightrequest with other departments
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments for company or external customers
- Process freight billing, reviewand code vendor invoices for payment processing and ensure correct freight costs
- Perform a variety of other administrative and logistics duties as assigned bysupervisor
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 1 - 3 years of directly related experience in the field of Logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to organize,prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Willingness towork extended hours when required to complete projects on time
