Logistics Specialist; m​/f​/x

Our subsidiary BAUER Equipment America represents BAUER Maschinen GmbH in the USA and is looking for a Logistics Assistant (m/f/x) for its location in Conroe, Texas, USA.

• Coordinate the transportation of company products domestic and international via ground, air or ocean
• Responsible for scheduling shipments, obtaining trucking quotes, carrier pickups and deliveries, monitoring shipments, costs, and timelines
• Review International shipping documents (airway bills / seaway bill) for accuracy
• Handle domestic freight claims, rate analysis, and assist with internal freight request with other departments
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments for company or external customers
• Process freight billing, review and code vendor invoices for payment processing and ensure correct freight costs
• Perform a variety of other administrative and logistics duties as assigned by supervisor

Your profile:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 1 - 3 years of directly related experience in the field of Logistics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to work extended hours when required to complete projects on time
