Salary: $45 - $55 per hour

You will be a vital part of our construction team, providing the electrical expertise that keeps our projects running smoothly. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of construction settings. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC, OSHA, and NFPA safety standards.
- Perform load bank testing on generators and backup power systems.
- Interpret and work from Single-Line Drawings (SLDs) and construction blueprints.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, making repairs as necessary.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and commissioning teams to ensure all electrical work is completed on schedule and to specifications.
- Support testing of switch gear, UPS systems, generators, and distribution equipment.
- Provide commissioning and start-up support for complex electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable safety protocols and electrical codes.
- Journeyman Electrician License Required.
- 5+ years of experience in the electrical field, preferably in a construction setting.
- Strong understanding of Single-Line Drawings and electrical blueprints.
- Experience with load banking and testing of generators and backup power systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with commissioning and start-up of complex electrical systems.
- Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and NFPA safety standards.
- Experience in a mission critical / data center environment is a plus.
- Proficiency in electrical systems installation, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, safety protocols, electrical code knowledge, and electrical repair.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in a variety of weather conditions.
