• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Under the direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker maintains outstanding customer service standards, processes sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently, performs cash register operations, and safeguards company assets. The role requires bending, standing, and stooping for prolonged periods.
